LIMS Scala Testing Automation Engineer

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Scala Testing Automation Engineer to join our team in order to develop and maintain software automation test frameworks. Extensive hands-on experience as an Automation engineer within the ScalaTest framework is a requirement. Working experience with GitLab, Kafka, REST and Kubernetes is also required. 5+ years of experience developing test automation frameworks and harnesses using programming and scripting languages is needed. Experience building, designing, and maintaining test automation tools and frameworks using clean coding practices and functional programming languages. You will be responsible for supporting test infrastructure of Natera software systems and maintaining current status on Natara training requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong working knowledge of Scala and/or Java.

Strong knowledge of Linux and command line shell scripting.

Recent hands-on experience of REST API testing and test automation.

Extensive working knowledge of relational databases and strong SQL skills.

Experience with front-end test automation tools and libraries such as Selenium, TestNG, Junit, ScalaTest, Gatling and others.

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, system dependencies, and product integration phases.

Effective written and verbal communication skills are absolutely required for this role. You must be able to work LEGALLY in the United States or Canada as NO SPONSORSHIP will be provided. NO 3^rd PARTIES.

This is a contract position of 6-month duration.
