OUR PROJECT
The Senior Rust Software Developer will focus on architecting, developing, and modernizing high-assurance software solutions that operate across C5 and Cyber domains. Central to this effort is the strategic adoption of the Rust programming language to enhance system safety, reliability, and performance for embedded platforms. You will play a key role in shaping the engineering direction for software modernization initiatives—guiding the integration of Rust into complex systems, influencing best practices, and ensuring technical excellence across our embedded software development lifecycle.
This is a long-term contract position that will be onsite at the Camden, NJ facility with a 9/80 schedule. You can expect very competitive pay.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Senior Rust Software Developer who is both technically adept and passionate about developing secure, high-performance embedded systems. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Rust and embedded software design, along with a strong foundation in C/C++ development, object-oriented design, and real-time operating systems. Experience with cryptography, information assurance, or NSA Type 1 certification processes is a strong plus. An active DoD Secret clearance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep hands-on experience with Rust software development for production systems with expertise in the language, and embedded software development experience.
- Proficient in C/C++ development, object-oriented design, and embedded systems.
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance
