OUR PROJECT

The Senior Electrical Engineer will provide critical support in the design, development, and maintenance of system-level cable architecture across multiple customer-funded programs within a high-reliability space systems environment. This role is responsible for leading cable architecture design efforts, developing and maintaining interconnect diagrams and specifications, and reviewing cable drawings to ensure system integrity and compliance.

This position will evaluate and analyze signal integrity, EMI, and power distribution impacts, perform worst-case circuit analysis, and support material and component selection. This individual will also contribute to technical design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure robust and reliable system performance.

This is a long-term contract opportunity based onsite in Fort Wayne, IN with a 9/80 schedule.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in cable architecture and system-level interconnect design within complex electrical systems. The ideal candidate is both technically strong and capable of leading design efforts across multiple programs. You should be comfortable guiding design teams, contributing to system-level decisions, and working in a collaborative engineering environment. Experience with signal integrity, EMI analysis, and power systems is critical, along with the ability to support technical reviews and drive design quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience designing system and subsystem cable architecture and interconnects
  • Strong background in signal integrity, EMI analysis, and power distribution (IR drop)
  • Experience with schematic design and analysis
  • Experience performing root cause corrective action
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
