OUR PROJECT
This role is focused on I/O verification, loop checks, signal testing, and commissioning support for a large PLC migration effort. Work is structured and execution-driven, centered around field checkout activities rather than system design. Ideal candidates will have prior hands-on plant experience with PLC/DCS systems, instrumentation, and startup support.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to support the executing of a full DCS-to-PLC controls upgrade at their Kansas City facility. This project requires immediate on-site support during the checkout, testing, and commissioning phase.
We are seeking experienced Automation Technicians, Controls Technicians, or Commissioning Engineers to support a fast-paced industrial controls modernization project.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hands-on automation experience with PLC systems and I/O checkout (point-to-point)
- Ability to perform 4–20mA loop checks and signal verification
- Field instrumentation troubleshooting (e.g., remove caps, verify wiring, use Fluke 787 or equivalent)
- Comfort with high-volume, repetitive commissioning work in an industrial plant environment
