OUR PROJECT

The Senior DevOps Engineer will focus on supporting a strategic Oracle Exadata migration from on premises infrastructure to AWS. This role emphasizes cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and database migration support to establish a stable, scalable, and efficient cloud foundation for future growth.

This is a six-month contract engagement with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring onsite presence one day per week at the Chicago, IL location.

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives in complex, enterprise environments and brings hands on, deliver-focused mindset. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, strong DevOps automation skills, and proven experience supporting large-scale on-premises to cloud migrations. You are comfortable operating across infrastructure, security, and platform teams, and can translate architectural requirements into reliable, automated solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong AWS Cloud DevOps experience (OCI preferred), with hands-on delivery of on-prem to cloud migrations covering architecture, security, and performance.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and configuration/automation with Ansible.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) with working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.
