OUR PROJECT
The Senior DevOps Engineer will focus on supporting a strategic Oracle Exadata migration from on premises infrastructure to AWS. This role emphasizes cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, and database migration support to establish a stable, scalable, and efficient cloud foundation for future growth.
This is a six-month contract engagement with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring onsite presence one day per week at the Chicago, IL location.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, strong DevOps automation skills, and proven experience supporting large-scale on-premises to cloud migrations. You are comfortable operating across infrastructure, security, and platform teams, and can translate architectural requirements into reliable, automated solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong AWS Cloud DevOps experience (OCI preferred), with hands-on delivery of on-prem to cloud migrations covering architecture, security, and performance.
- Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and configuration/automation with Ansible.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) with working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environments.
