OUR PROJECT

Immediate opportunity to join our team on a product development initiative with our client in the Defense industry.

This is a long-term contract position that will be onsite at our facility in Wilmington, MA with a 9/80 schedule. You can expect competitive pay with healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision) available through ePeak. Active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance levels is required for this program.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an Project Engineer to lead the development of secured electro optical systems in Wilmington, MA. You will be responsible for leading and directing the work of engineers as well as interfacing clients to gather technical requirements and design specifications. Additionally, you will review project budgets, drive delivery schedules, and provide status reports to business leadership. Experience leading large scale defense projects from bid to completion is required. Prior experience with electro-optical systems is preferred but not required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience delivering electro-optical systems (i.e., telescopes, cameras)
  • Experience leading electrical and mechanical engineering groups
  • Experience liaising with business stakeholders to provide updates on delivery schedule
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System reports for project performance, preferably large scaled defense projects with $10M+ budget size
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or RCCA certifications are strongly preferred, but not required
