The Lead Assay Scientist will play a key role in an early-stage discovery program by performing hands on development and mentorship in a HTS environment.
This is a long-term contract position that requires an onsite presence at the Louisville, CO location.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Lead Assay Scientist to support assay development, high throughput screening campaigns, and hit triage for early-stage discovery programs. Proven experience in high-throughput assay development and execution is required. Hands-on experience with HTS automation, liquid handlers, and multimode detection systems is required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated experience developing, optimizing, and validating biochemical and cell-based assays in 96-, 384-, and 1536-well formats.
- Proven ability to execute primary screens, confirmation screens, and hit-validation campaigns in an HTS environment.
- Hands-on expertise operating, programming, and troubleshooting HTS automation platforms, including liquid handlers and multimode plate readers.
- Experience running counter screens and basic SAR-enabling experiments to effectively triage HTS outputs.
- Ability to provide technical mentorship and training to junior scientists as required.
