This is a long-term contract position that will be onsite at our facility in Palm Bay, FL with a 9/80 schedule. You can expect competitive pay with healthcare available through ePeak.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the end-to-end development of mission critical space technology. You will be responsible for leading and directing the work of engineers as well as interfacing with clients to gather technical requirements and design specifications. Additionally, you will review project budgets, drive delivery schedules, and provide status reports to business leadership. Prior experience working with Space Systems or Space Technology is required. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a state-of-the-art communication system development initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering mechanical and electrical systems for space technology
- Experience leading electrical and mechanical engineering groups
- Experience liaising with business stakeholders to provide updates on delivery schedule
- Experience with Earned Value Management System reports for project performance
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or RCCA certifications are strongly preferred, but not required
