OUR PROJECT

Immediate opportunity to join our team on a product development initiative with our client in the Defense industry.

This is a long-term contract position that will be onsite at our facility in Fort Wayne, IN with a 9/80 schedule. You can expect competitive pay with healthcare available through ePeak. Active Security Clearance, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance levels is needed on this program.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an Project Engineer for the development of secured surveillance systems in Fort Wayne. You will be responsible for leading and directing the work of engineers as well as interfacing with clients to gather technical requirements and design specifications. Additionally, you will review project budgets, drive delivery schedules, and provide status reports to business leadership. Prior experience with electro-optical systems is preferred but not required. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a state-of-the-art communication system development initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience delivering electro-optical systems (i.e., telescopes, cameras)
  • Experience leading electrical and mechanical engineering groups
  • Experience liaising with business stakeholders to provide updates on delivery schedule
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System reports for project performance
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or RCCA certifications are strongly preferred, but not required
