OUR PROJECT
The Optical Manufacturing Technician Engineer will contribute to the precision fabrication of infrared optical components and metal mirrors used in advanced aerospace and defense systems. The Optical Manufacturing Technician will play a key role in the production, inspection, and quality assurance of high-precision optical components across low- to high-volume manufacturing environments. The role requires strong technical expertise in single-point diamond turning (SPDT), CNC machining, and optical metrology within a highly regulated ISO and MIL-STD manufacturing environment
This is a long-term contract that will require being onsite at the Boulder, CO facility. You can expect very competitive pay.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience operating Diamond Turning systems in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating CNC lathes (preferred).
- Proficiency with G- and M-code, tool path modification, and CNC programming fundamentals.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and Windows-based systems for documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-precision, regulated aerospace or defense manufacturing environment.
