OUR PROJECT
The Process Engineer will support a critical project and initiative with a leader in the industrial and material manufacturing industry which centers on analyzing production and process data to identify product-level drivers of yield loss and waste within a plant manufacturing environment. This person will work across automation, quality, and production systems to correlate process tag data with scrap and quality outcomes. The role requires strong manufacturing domain knowledge, advanced data analytics capability, and the ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable operational insights for plant leadership.
This is a long-term contract position that will be 100% remote with occasional onsite visits to the Granville, NY Facility.

The ideal candidate has a proven ability to analyze complex manufacturing and automation data to identify root causes of scrap, yield loss, and process variation at the product level. This individual is comfortable working across production, automation, and quality systems, translating large datasets into clear, actionable insights for plant and operational leadership. Strong communication skills and the ability to drive measurable process improvements in a collaborative manufacturing setting are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Process Engineer with experience in plant-based manufacturing environments.
- Strong data analytics background focused on process optimization, yield improvement, and scrap reduction.
- Demonstrated ability to correlate process tag data with quality, yield, and scrap outcomes.
- Experience working with manufacturing automation and data systems, including: Profibus PLC, Aveva Wonderware, QAD, and NWA Quality.
Effective written and verbal communication skills are required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorship and no third parties.
