OUR PROJECT

Immediate opportunity to join our team — supporting a Corporate IT Financial Management function within a global life sciences and diagnostics enterprise. This project focuses on improving enterprise-wide IT cost transparency, strengthening budgeting and forecasting accuracy, and enhancing financial reporting for operational and transformation initiatives. You will be part of a high-visibility finance function that partners directly with IT, Accounting, and business leaders to manage spend, track actuals, and support strategic IT investments across the organization.

This is a remote long-term contract position with competitive compensation.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support IT budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting in the Chicago area. Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills are required, along with experience supporting month-end close processes and cost center reporting. In this role, you will work closely with IT Finance, cost center owners, and program leads to manage IT spend, track vendor invoices, analyze forecast vs. actuals, and maintain financial dashboards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills (Power Query and ETL knowledge a plus)
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across IT and Finance teams
