OUR PROJECT

Immediate opportunity to join our team with a medical device manufacturing unit. We are supporting the development of a medical device and its sensor capabilities.

This is a long-term contract position that will remain remote. You can expect competitive pay.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background with Embedded C to join our team migrating microcontroller code from a legacy platform to MPLAB X IDE and XC8. You will be responsible for supporting the code migration and for code redevelopment on MPLAB for sensors utilized as a part of a medical device. Demonstrated expertise developing embedded software utilizing Embedded C/C++ for a PIC18 microcontroller is required. Prior automation development experience with the MPLAB X IDE and XC8 is required. Prior experience working with a microchip debugger is required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a cutting-edge team to bring a product to market.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with Embedded C/C++ with the PIC18 microcontroller
  • Automation development experience with the MPLAB X IDE and XC8
  • Experience working with a microchip debugger (e.g. PICKit or ICD)  
  • Experience with medical devices is preferred
