OUR PROJECT

Immediate opportunity to join our R&D team supporting the development of new multilayer liquid coating techniques. We are looking to understand and deliver efficient simultaneous multilayer coating techniques for innovative building materials and are in need of an Application Scientist to guide our laboratory team.

This is a part-time and remote contract position with competitive pay that will require occasional travel to several manufacturing sites. Enterprise Peak will address traveling expenses at key project points.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a senior Polymer Application Scientist to support the delivery of experimental designs for our corporate research team to execute on innovative building materials. We hope to deliver efficient simultaneous multilayer liquid coating techniques that can be applied to on-market products and to new materials. 10+ years of experience managing laboratory research on multilayer liquid coating techniques to enhance performance of a coated material is required. Expertise bringing a technique to a manufacturing production environment is highly desired. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of copper-free building materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Materials Science and Wet Multilayer Coating subject matter expertise
  • Slot Die and Slide Die Coating techniques is required
  • Prior working experience in corporate research setting
  • Experience delivering experiments building upon rheological concepts
  • Expertise bringing innovative techniques to manufacturing production
  • Experience working with the EPA strongly preferred
