Solid Modeling Design Engineer

OUR PROJECT

Immediate opportunity to join our team with a large Durable Medical Equipment (DME) manufacturing company. This is a great opportunity to participate in the development of a Nitinol implant simulation and computational analysis.

This is a short-term contract position with competitive compensation.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Solid Modeling Design Engineer specializing in solid computational modeling in Ansys to simulate the behavior of the foot and ankle implant. Experience simulating product designs with Ansys and SolidWorks in a regulated industry is required. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in the design of a next generation implant simulation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience using Ansys for solid modeling

Experience with rotational stability and statistical loading

Prior experience simulating solid implants is strongly preferred

Experience working in a medical device or regulated industry is a plus
