OUR PROJECT

Immediate opportunity to join our Defense Electrical Systems Engineering team as a Project Engineer.

This is a long-term contracting position that will be onsite with a 9/80 schedule at facility in Alpharetta, GA. You can expect competitive compensation with healthcare benefits. Active Security Clearance is not required for this role.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Project Engineer to lead the delivery of military displays for an aircraft. You will be responsible for the successful management of a cross-functional project team spanning across Software, Mechanical and Electrical engineering groups, Operations, and Program Management teams within allocated cost and schedule commitments in a growing business area. Experience developing, overseeing, and coordinating the cost, schedule, and technical delivery of avionics products is required. Experience with military displays and expertise in running electrical programs in Avionics is desired. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting Avionics project.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of Engineering Leadership Experience delivering Avionics Products
  • Experience working with Electrical, Systems, Software, Mechanical, and Thermal Engineering units
  • Expertise delivering electromechanical avionic systems as a technical team member
  • Ability to manage complex engineering issues and deliver resolutions on time and budget
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal are required
  • Budget reporting and management experience ($1M+)
