Immediate opportunity to join our Defense Electrical Systems Engineering team as a Chemical Engineer
This is a long-term contracting position that will be onsite with a 9/80 schedule at facility in Springfield, VA. You can expect competitive compensation with healthcare benefits. Active TS/SCI with CI Poly level Clearance is required for this role.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Chemical Engineer to lead the delivery of multi- and hyperspectral imaging analysis. You will be responsible for providing chemistry and chemical engineering expertise to develop analytical processes and tools to exploit advanced spectral data collections. 10+ years of experience delivering chemical attribution assessments utilizing multi- and hyperspectral analysis with both organic reaction chemistry and inorganic reaction chemistry is required. Advanced education is a desired in this role. Prior experience supporting development of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) sensors is a plus. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing project.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience delivering chemical attribution assessments
- Expertise with multi- and hyperspectral analysis for both organic and inorganic reaction
- Ability to deliver complex analyses and compounds of interest
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly Clearance is required
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal are required
- Advanced Education in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred
- Prior working experience with Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) sensors a plus
